Over the past eight years, I’ve built brand voices from scratch, shaped editorial strategy for audiences in the millions, and written everything from AI product copy to bestselling cookbook manuscripts. I’ve worked B2B and B2C. In-app and on the shelf. For startups and household names.
What ties it all together is a belief that words deserve the same care as any other design element. The right sentence rhythm can build trust. The right headline can change behaviour. And the right tone of voice can make a brand feel like a person you’d actually want to talk to.
My Approach
I don’t just write copy — I build the systems that keep copy consistent. Style guides, tone-of-voice frameworks, editorial calendars, content architecture. The infrastructure that makes a brand sound unmistakable whether it’s a push notification or a 2,000-word blog post.
I care about the details that most people don’t notice but everyone feels: the rhythm of a sentence, the weight of a word, the difference between a full stop and an em dash. That precision is what separates copy that sounds right from copy that just fills space.
Education
BA (Hons) English Language and MA Linguistics & TESOL, both from the University of Liverpool. The linguistics background means I don’t just have opinions about language — I have frameworks for understanding why certain words work and others don’t.
